Robert Arlen Hotz - Clinical Training and Psychology Practice

Robert Arlen Hotz, a clinical psychology doctoral candidate at The Chicago School (Merit scholarship), focused his doctoral research on the connection between childhood trauma, ADHD, and adult criminal behavior. While pursuing his Psy.D. in clinical psychology, Robert Arlen Hotz gained clinical experience at several centers, including the Rush Neurobehavioral Center.

At Rush Neurobehavioral Center, under supervision, Robert Arlen Hotz tested, scored, wrote reports, and completed clinical didactics. His earlier training at the Landstrom Center included administering and hand-scoring more than 120 neuropsychological batteries in one year, as well as writing comprehensive reports. He also worked with the New Mexico Center for Forensic Psychology, where he prepared competency evaluation reports for court cases.

Alongside assessment, Mr. Hotz has provided individual psychotherapy to children and adults in private practice and school settings. A member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, he has published his research in Nature Communications.

Mr. Hotz earned a BA in psychology from New York University. He also has certifications in psychoanalysis and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. He completed a diploma in hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute. His hobbies include boxing, MMA, and weightlifting.
